The light of Christmas

“The world needs people who help others brighten hearts. “
(From the Book: A Light for you to pass on, p. 38)

In spirit, I approach you in this Christmas season of the Birth of the Redeemer of the world.

Contemplate the Christmas mystery as the light of hope, let us be encouraged by the words of our Venerable Foundress, Mother Alphonse Marie, ”Have courage! God is with you…” She had courage, especially, when it was the most difficult for everyone. Where she or her Sisters appeared, light shone in the darkness” because Christ, the Light of the world came with them.

“The true light, which enlightens everyone, was coming into the world” (Jn 1:9) leads us to think. This is a mystery that lives. It is the Light, which brightens the darkness. The task of the world, which, by nature, glows in the dark, is diminished in darkness. When we meditate and live the Word of God, we become the light of the world, also.

By the Birth of our Redeemer the light of Christmas triumphs over darkness, evil, temptation, and worries.

I ask for you and your families the power, which overcomes the darkness and brings Jesus, the Light of the world, to everyone. May the New Year, 2017, be rich in graces for you and all you love and keep close in your heart.

I greet you, in Jesus, Who is coming out of love to us, in this world and Who is the Light of the World.
