"Christ rose from the dead. Life has overcome death."
(Easter Liturgy)
“We Christians believe and know that the resurrection of Christ is the true hope of the world, the hope that does not deceive. It is the power of the grain of wheat, the power of that love that humbles and gives itself to the end. This power really renews the world.” (Pope Francis)

Gratitude and New Mission
A Thanksgiving Holy Mass for the beatification of our Foundress, Alphonse Marie Eppinger, was celebrated on April 6, 2019, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of the General Motherhouse in Rome. This Thanksgiving Holy Mass was also a farewell for our neighbors, friends, known priests and religious women, because the seat of the Generalate will be transferred to Austria.Among the invited guests was Sister M. Katarína Krištofová, Postulator for the beatification process of Alphonse Marie. She carried the relic of the new blessed during the entrance procession to the chapel.
The Superior General, Sister Johanna Vogl, welcomed all present. She briefly presented the history of the work in Rome and expressed gratitude, mainly, to God and to all, who worked with us and supported us in Rome.
The celebrant, Father Paolo Bertollo SP, in his homily, highlighted the spiritual good which was brought through the witnesses of the Sisters, who lived in this community in Rome.

“Do not be afraid; for behold,
I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.
For today in the city of David
a Savior has been born for you who is Messiah and Lord” (Lk 2: 10 – 11).
The Good News of Christmas is more relevant today than ever. It encourages us to see our own situation as well as of the world.
The following words of our Holy Father Francis inspire us to renew in us the mystery of Christmas: “This is the joy that we tonight are called to share, to celebrate and to proclaim. It is the joy with which God in his infinite mercy has embraced us pagans, sinners and foreigners, and demands us to do the same.
Do not be afraid! Open wide the doors for Christ. In this Child, God invites us to be messengers of hope. He invites us to become sentinels for all those who bowed down by the despair born of encountering so many closed doors. In this child, God makes us agents of His hospitality.” (Pope Francis)

Together on the Way
On December 7-9,2018, at the Generalate in Rome a meeting was held of the General Leadership with the new Provincial Superiors from Austria, Hungary, and Slovakia.
The theme of the meeting was “Implementation of Authority in the Mature Community”. The discussion helped us to better understand that the authority must be attractive and should encounter Sisters as equals.
